My guess is that the hair on the sides is between 1/4'; and 3/8';. The hair on top looks to be around 1.2'; - 1.5'; though this is a rough guess since entire strands can't really be seen, and this is the typical length for the hair on top of this type of haircut. His hair is very wavy, and this style usually looks best on wavy curly hair. On straight hair it can often look like a short bowl cut as Jim Carey wore in the movie ';Dumb and Dumber.'; A way to estimate lengths in photos is to assume an average face length from the center of the front hairline to the tip of the chin like 8';, and then to measure the face length and the length of a strand of hair in the photo and proportionally adjust as if the face length were 8';.
