Mens hairstyle advice - What grade for short back and sides?

My last hair cut was a #2 all over, now its about 1.5 inches all over.





I want to grow it another 1-2inches on top but want the back and side short. Ive also receded so about a grade II on the norwood scale, so that's a little at the temples.

Any advise on whats a good grade e.g. 2,3,4,5,6,7 or longer?





Never had it long on top before and kept it short elsewhere.

rite i have 3 on the sides and a trim on top and style the top and mybe get a style on the back
